Application and characteristics of pearl cotton foaming machine screen changer
The screen changer of pearl cotton foaming machine is usually installed in the extrusion system, between the screw extruder and the die head. In the production process of pearl cotton, plastic particles (mainly polyethylene and other raw materials) are heated, melted, and plasticized in a screw extruder. However, the raw materials may contain impurities such as incompletely melted plastic pellets, dust, foreign objects, etc. The main function of the screen changer is to filter the plastic melt before it enters the mold head, ensuring the purity of the melt entering the mold head, thereby improving the quality of pearl cotton products.
