Double plate Plastic granulation screen changer
The dual-plate granulating hydraulic screen changer is mainly applied in the production of plastic products, especially in the field of thermoplastic plastics and material processing. Its structural features include two parallel sliding plates, each equipped with a work station, allowing simultaneous operation of both stations. When impurities accumulate on the filter screen to a preset level, a pressure alarm is triggered, activating the hydraulic station to push one sliding plate out for screen replacement while the other continues to operate, ensuring uninterrupted production during the screen changing process. This equipment is suitable for various thermoplastic plastics and material processing, characterized by dual flow channels and work stations, alternating screen changing, minimal pressure fluctuations, simple structure, ease of operation, and automatic alarming.
The advantages of the dual-plate granulating hydraulic screen changer include non-stop screen changing to ensure production continuity; stable material flow to minimize temperature and pressure variations; excellent sealing performance to prevent material leakage; fast screen changing to enhance production efficiency; wide applicability for various plastic product manufacturing; wear and pressure resistance to prolong service life; flexible heating methods to meet different heating requirements; and high temperature resistance for use in high-temperature environments. However, it also has some drawbacks, such as complex structure and high cost; the need for a dedicated hydraulic station, resulting in relatively high maintenance costs; and high requirements for the cleanliness and stability of hydraulic oil.
In terms of operation precautions, operators should strictly follow safety procedures to ensure personal and equipment safety. After receiving a pressure alarm, they should prepare a new filter screen and ensure the hydraulic station is in operable condition. By activating the hydraulic station and moving the sliding plate, the filter station on one plate is moved out of the screen changer body for cleaning and replacement. After retracting the sliding plate, filtration work continues. Additionally, regular inspections and maintenance of the screen changer are necessary, including checking the stability of the hydraulic system and the wear condition of the filter screens.
In conclusion, the dual-plate granulating hydraulic screen changer achieves production continuity and high efficiency through its unique design and operating principle. However, due to its complex structure, high cost, and high requirements for hydraulic oil cleanliness and stability, enterprises need to comprehensively consider its advantages and disadvantages when selecting and using this equipment.
