Introduction to the Basic Structure and Working Principle of Automatic Screen Changer
The mesh-belt type automatic screen changer is widely used in the production of high-quality, long-process products such as cast films, thin films, various drawn filaments, and granules, meeting the melt filtration requirements of high-level automated production lines.
Basic Structure of Automatic Screen Changer
Mesh-type contrasting filter belt: As the core filtration component, it is made of special materials with high strength and temperature resistance, responsible for filtering melt impurities.
Filter screen housing: It serves to accommodate and secure the filter belt, ensuring its stable operation.
Inlet cooling section: It reduces the melt temperature to prevent viscosity reduction and excessive increase in fluidity.
Main flow channel connection section: It connects the inlet cooling section, filter screen housing, and outlet cooling section to ensure smooth melt flow.
Outlet cooling section: It cools the filtered melt again to meet the requirements of subsequent production processes.
Heating element: It heats the melt during screen changing to facilitate the smooth movement of the filter screen.
Electrical control system: It effectively controls the operation of the entire screen changer.
Working Principle of Automatic Screen Changer
Melt pressure triggering: When the melt pressure at the inlet reaches a preset value, the control system initiates the screen advancement procedure.
Time control triggering: In scenarios with minimal pressure fluctuations, screen advancement can be initiated based on preset time intervals.
Heating: The control system activates the heating element to increase the melt temperature at the outlet end, facilitating filter screen movement.
Screen advancement: The filter screen automatically moves under the influence of melt pressure, carrying away impurities.
Cooling and sealing: After the filter screen moves, the outlet end uses cold water to cool the melt and prevent leakage.
Cyclic operation: After completing one screen advancement cycle, the filtration process continues until the screen advancement conditions are met again.
